The Terms and Conditions are imposed by Best Classical Music Awards (hereafter the Competition), a service owned by World Classical Music Ltd, office 201 10 courtenay road east lane Wembley HA9 7ND, England and Wales, vat 431136143, crn 14356008. ​

 

A.1 The competition is held by online video submission eg. through YouTube upload. Applications from musicians who are under the age of 18 must be filled and submitted by a parent or legal guardian.​

A.2 Candidates can choose to enter into more than one category if they wish. Applicants will need to pay for each category the candidate enters into. ​

A.3 Candidates can only play one musical instrument for each application. An additional musical instrument will need to be submitted as another application.​

A.4 Candidates can submit separate videos for different pieces. More info can be found on the requirement page.​

A.5 Jury members who are currently teaching or have taught a candidate in the past two years must refrain from assessing their performance(s).​

A.6 All candidates will receive an official certificate in digital format, ready for printing. Only the seasonal Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prize winners are qualified to order the paper certificate and medal, which is at an additional cost. ​​Special Prizes are awarded to those candidates who have shown a special and unique side of themselves in their video performance. ​​ ​

 

B. General Condition and Info

B.1 Once the application fee has been submitted it cannot be refunded.

B.2 By participating in the competition, the applicant grants us all rights to use and publish candidate's name, likeness, recordings, and other material in accordance with the Competition needs (promotion, social media, etc.) with no expectation of payment.​

B.3 Each candidate is responsible for copyright/ownership of the audio/video/photo they submit to the competition.​

B.4 The decisions of international jury members are final.​

B.5 During the application process, the Competition collects necessary personal data from the application form, this data being necessary for the various procedures of the Competition. 

B.6 Any Competitor who makes an attempt, or on whose behalf any attempt is made, to communicate with any member of the Jury during the adjudication period (starting on the day after the application deadline, and ending on the day of results publishing) may face penalty such as disqualification, removing all previous results/collections/awards, or banning from further entries to the competition.​

B.7 We reserve the right to change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.​

B.8 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we hereby exclude and shall not have any liability to any entrant or prize winner in connection with or arising out of any Competition howsoever caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prizes, damages and other liabilities.​

C. Medal and paper certificate orders​

C.1 We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order.  It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address you give us is correct and accurate and that there is somebody to sign for and take delivery of the goods from the delivery service used.

C.2 All orders are delivered using a registered courier (usually Royal Mail or Evri / EMS). We cannot be held responsible for any delays once the goods have left us and are in possession of the courier​.

C.3 You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been dispatched to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

C.4 We make no promise that materials on our website are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United Kingdom, and accessing the website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful is prohibited. If you choose to access this site from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.​

C.5 If your order is returned to us because the courier or you provided an inaccurate address, or the postal service could not complete the delivery to you for whatever reason, then you will be responsible for the repeat delivery costs.​

C.6 If you are not completely satisfied with your order for any reason, you have the right to return them within 14 working days, which commence from the date of delivery, for credit or refund. It is your responsibility to return goods in their original pristine condition and packaging. Any costs incurred by you in returning your goods shall be your responsibility unless previously agreed by ourselves.​

C.7 When ordering products for delivery outside of mainland UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
